Content & Editorial Planning Sprint
Create a practical content plan your team can turn into a consistent publishing programme.

Is this the right
next step?
There are plenty of content ideas, but priorities, ownership and deadlines are unclear. Website, social and campaign content are being planned separately, making it hard to sustain a coherent story.
For B2B SaaS teams with an agreed audience and proposition that need a focused editorial plan across named channels and a defined planning period.
Clear themes.
A workable calendar.
Duration and fixed fee are to be agreed once the scope and required inputs are clear.
Audience and content priorities
Agree the audience questions, communications objectives and role of the selected channels and formats.
Editorial themes and story opportunities
Develop content themes and a prioritised set of topics using business expertise, company news, available customer evidence and campaign needs.
Editorial calendar and content briefs
Create a calendar for the agreed period and an explicitly scoped set of briefs covering purpose, audience, key points, format, owner and next action.
Production and approval workflow
Define the inputs, responsibilities, review points and publishing rhythm needed to put the plan into practice.
From the brief
to your next move.
- Agree the editorial task. Define the audience, objectives, channels and planning horizon.
- Find the useful stories. Review existing material, business priorities and available expertise.
- Build the plan. Organise the themes, calendar and named content briefs.
- Make it deliverable. Agree ownership, approvals and the production rhythm with the team.
What we need.
What’s included.
What we’ll need from you
Audience and messaging work, business and campaign priorities, available content and news, access to subject-matter experts and realistic production capacity.
Scope boundaries
A defined planning period, channel set, topic list and number of content briefs. Writing and designing the full content programme, profile configuration, video production, paid distribution and ongoing publishing are separate. A social-only launch or ongoing communications service can provide a more focused route where appropriate.
Before
we start.
Does this include writing all the content?
The package provides the plan and agreed briefs. Content production can be scoped separately, or ongoing social publishing can be covered by Social Communications Retainer.
How is this different from the social launch package?
This sprint plans content across the selected formats and channels. The social launch package also configures agreed social profiles and prepares an initial batch of social posts.
What if our message is not clear yet?
We identify that before planning. Positioning & Messaging can establish the core story so the editorial plan has a sound starting point.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
Duration and fixed fee are to be agreed. We’ll confirm the scope, inputs, review points and timing before the engagement starts.

way forward.
